Ian Ferguson
Bass, Harmonica and Vocals
Ian started playing bass in 1965, during the musical revolution that was the 60's. Two months after picking up a bass guitar he was playing regularly at dance venues around Melbourne with some of Australia's well-known artists and performing on TV shows such as The Go Show and Kommotion.

In the 60's, he played in The Moods, Y?4, Running, Jumping, Standing Still, and R. J. Taylor, before moving on to Carson, Tank and The Mick Elliott Band in the 70's.
He has also played at the Sunbury Festivals twice and performed all over Australia.

He had a 10-year break from playing in the eighties before forming Carson Taylor Band in 1991. In 1998 he decided that he needed something extra from music and took up the guitar first, and then the blues harp, and started to incorporate them into the band repertoire.
